In the Alipurduar division’s New Maynaguri station, 5 carriages from an empty freight train derailed. Train services are unaffected, nevertheless, since lines have been rerouted via different routes.
According to the Northeast Frontier Railway zone’s chief public relations officer, senior officials are currently on the scene supervising the continuing restoration works, including the Divisional Railway Manager of Alipurduar.

Regarding the information, a train derailed this morning at approximately 6:20 a.m. No one has been injured or killed. Station Superintendent Mukesh Kumar stated, “Restoration work is underway.”
In a different incident, sources claim that on Saturday night, the Muzaffarpur-Pune Special train derailed in the Muzaffarpur region of Bihar. The train’s engine slid off the rails just outside the Muzaffarpur railway station, causing the derailment. Train traffic has been stopped along the line, even though there haven’t been any recent reports of casualties.
