Uttarakhand MBBS courses in Hindi within the state’s medical colleges, as announced by Minister of Health and Education, Dhan Singh Rawat. This move, to be implemented from this month, marks a pivotal step forward in medical education within the state. Following in the footsteps of Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand becomes the second Indian state to embark on this progressive path.
Hindi MBBS to get Launched by August-end:
Rawat revealed that Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has given his endorsement for the formal launch of these Hindi-medium MBBS courses in Uttarakhand’s medical institutions by the conclusion of August. The development of the Hindi syllabus for these courses was entrusted to a committee of skilled medical professionals appointed by the state government. Drawing inspiration from the Madhya Pradesh model, the committee meticulously adapted and refined the syllabus for Uttarakhand’s medical colleges.

Syllabus Approved for Hindi MBBS:
Rawat affirmed that the syllabus underwent a rigorous evaluation process by experts and was subsequently submitted to the Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna University of Medical Education. All requisite formalities have been duly completed to integrate the Hindi-medium MBBS courses into the academic curriculum.
