Uttarakhand Govt, Chief Secretary, Radha Raturi, held a high-level meeting with officials from various departments, including the State Industrial Development Corporation of Uttarakhand Limited (SIDCUL) and the Civil Aviation Department. The meeting aimed to create an action plan for establishing a State Industrial Security Force (SISF) in Uttarakhand, similar to the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) used at the State Secretariat.

Security Info Sharing for SISF
Raturi instructed the prompt sharing of information related to security force requirements for banks, airports, helipads, industrial facilities, SIDCUL, state and central government enterprises, and commercial establishments with the Home Department. This initiative aligns with Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s directive to establish an SISF in Uttarakhand, mirroring the CISF.
Accurate data collection regarding the security force needs of banks for currency chest security, as well as the security of airports, helipads, industrial institutions, SIDCUL, and government and business establishments in the state, is essential for this effort.

The Chief Secretary emphasized the urgent requirement for a responsible and vigilant security force to ensure the security of banks, industrial facilities, helipads, and government enterprises in the state.
