In Amreli, Gujarat, a 15-year-old girl, Sakshi Rajosara, had a suspected cardiac arrest just before her exam. She collapsed in her classroom and was rushed to the hospital, where she was sadly declared dead. This incident adds to a series of heart-related deaths in Gujarat, some even during Navratri ‘garba’ events. To address the situation, the state health minister, Rushikesh Patel, met with cardiologists to understand the causes and potential solutions for these tragedies.

COVID-19 Survivors: Exercise Caution
Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya referred to an ICMR study, advising those who have had severe COVID-19 to avoid intense physical activities like strenuous workouts and running for a year or two to prevent heart issues. The issue has also raised concerns with Anandiben Patel, the Uttar Pradesh Governor and former Gujarat Chief Minister.
