Shashi Tharoor, a senior Congress leader, proposed a 40-hour work week on Friday amid controversy surrounding the death of a 26-year-old employee at tax consultant company Ernst&Young (EY), which was purportedly caused by job pressure.

With her father, Sibi Joseph, he claimed to have had a “deeply emotional and heartrending” talk.
