Former Tata Group chairman Ratan Tata died at the age of 86 due to the result of leukemia on October the 9th of 2024. In the family circle, Noel Tata, who is Ratan Tata’s half-brother, is considered to be one of the most viable candidates for the top post. He currently occupies key roles in Tata group companies and because of his family relation, he is the most poised person to inherit Ratan Tata’s families wealth.

It should also be noted that Noel Tata’s children are also-another branch in the Tata’s tree that has been groomed to take up big responsibilities in the coming future. Maya Tata is now working in Tata Digital while Neville Tata is at the helm of managing the retail chain Star Bazaar, Leah Tata has done a great work in the hospitality industry.
