PM Modi’s visit to Tirumala began with a warm welcome on Sunday night. He received greetings from Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at Renigunta airport.

On Monday morning, Modi visited the revered hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara. He paid tribute at the ‘Dwajasthambam’, known for its spiritual significance, before seeking blessings from temple priests.

In a post on social media, he wrote, “At the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirumala, prayed for the good health, well-being, and prosperity of 140 crore Indians,” expressing his wishes for the nation.

Modi’s visit to Telangana coincides with the upcoming assembly election. He held a rally in Nirmal district, criticising the ruling BRS government for neglecting the needs of the poor.
Addressing the crowd, Modi promised swift housing for the underprivileged once the BJP takes charge in Telangana. He emphasised the BJP’s commitment to the welfare of Telangana’s impoverished citizens, contrasting it with the alleged hindrances imposed by the current government.
Election Scenario:
Telangana gears up for polls on November 30, with the vote count scheduled for December 3. The state braces for a competitive three-way battle among the ruling BRS, the Congress, and the emerging BJP.
As PM Modi continues his journey through Telangana, he is set to conduct public meetings and a roadshow, highlighting the BJP’s vision for the state’s development.
