The conference will be attended by PM Modi, a number of Union ministers, and chief ministers from the states where the Bharatiya Janata Party is in power.
This is the party’s first major gathering since its massive victory in Gujarat. Earlier, Prime Minister Modi organised a massive road show in his native Gujarat that covered more than 50 kilometres in more than five hours.
The meeting would cover a number of significant issues affecting the nation, according to party general secretary Vinod Tawde, who was speaking at a press conference at the BJP headquarters in Delhi.
Political and economic resolutions would be discussed, he said.
Tawde said that the meeting was taking place at a crucial time and promised that “elaborate discussions” will be held about the approaching state assembly elections, the BJP’s “pravas yojana” for vulnerable Lok Sabha seats, and the improvement of booth level teams.
