On August 15, Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to meet with the Indian delegation to the Paris Olympics. Following the Independence Day event, PM Modi is anticipated to meet with the contingent at approximately 1:00 pm. According to information obtained by India Today, all 117 athletes from India are anticipated to attend the event on August 15th. Following his morning rituals, the Prime Minister will meet with the athletes who returned from the Olympics with six medals for India.

India Performance In Paris Olympics

India’s Olympic performance in Paris 2024 has been characterized by a combination of successes and setbacks. The athletes of the nation have demonstrated tenacity and willpower, but the total number of medals won has fallen short of the standards established by the Olympics in Tokyo in 2020. Although it was anticipated that India would surpass the ten medal mark in these Olympics, several athletes ending in fourth place.

India’s 2-1 victory over Spain to win the bronze medal in hockey at the Paris Olympics was the ideal send-off for PR Sreejesh. India had not won consecutive medals since 1972 till this occasion.
