Mumbai Weather Update: Moderate Rain Expected Today Amidst Severe Weather Alerts for Maharashtra, Including Heavy Rain and Thunderstorms
Currently, the IMD has predicted partly cloudy skies for the whole day and, therefore, Mumbai is expected to experience moderate rainfall today. The city as a whole is currently none under any weather alert while different levels of warning have been issued in different parts of Maharashtra as a result of rainfall.

Phone alerts for Maharashtra’s have yellow, orange and red level weather warnings for several areas. Light to moderate green colour corresponds to rain in districts – heavy to very heavy of yellow colour is for districts like Ahmednagar, Pune, Raigad and Ratnagiri. Some of the warning included orange alert which means the place such as Jalgaon, Nashik will getting heavy shower with thunder and lightning. The high red alert signals are for areas such as Nandurbar, Dhule, and Parbhani where there is forecasted to be very very heavy intensity rainfall.

Different places of Mumbai may expect some kind of weather change with the maximum temperature of 31 and minimum temperature of 27 degrees Celsius. The degree of relative humidity is expected to be between 85 and 92 percent and this will culminate into high humidity in the city. Meteorologically, the coming week implies further overcast with variable moderate showers to be expected during the week. From September 3 to September 6, the temperature will be slightly cooler with daytime temperatures ranging from 30- 31 °C and night time from 26-27°C. There are still chances of rainfall up to September 7 and 8 and this means that the temperatures will remain good.
