MP Shocker: Man Axes Wife To Death In Ashok Nagar District, Surrenders Before Police
In Shankar Colony in Ashok Nagar, a man killed his wife with an axe before turning himself in on Friday at a nearby police station.
The incident happened between 8.30 and 9 a.m., when Dashrath Rajak and his 36-year-old wife Kiran had the house to themselves as the children had gone to school. In 2003, Kiran and Dashrath tied the knot. Her prior employment was as a housekeeper, but due to Dashrath’s suspicions, she was forced to quit 1.5 years ago.
Having unemployed, Dashrath would often harass Kiran to get money from her family, and Kiran would often be physically abused. Kiran’s brother claimed that her family had helped her out financially on multiple occasions.

The incident took in the Parole area of Vasai township. Reportedly, the boy’s unease with his mother’s character was a regular source of tension between them.
