On Thursday, October 3, between 10 AM and 2 PM, there will be a temporary disruption to Namma Metro's Green Line operations in Bengaluru.

Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (BMRCL) announced on Tuesday that Namma Metro’s Green Line operations in Bengaluru will be partially interrupted on Thursday, October 3, between 10 AM and 2 PM.

A required safety check of a recently built expansion between Nagasandra and Madavara stations is the cause of this brief interruption. The Commissioner of Metro Railway Safety (Southern Circle) will perform the inspection prior to the section’s opening.

On Thursday, October 3, between 10 AM and 2 PM, there will be a partial disruption to Namma Metro’s Green Line operations. Only between the stations of Peenya Industry and Silk Institute will Metro trains on the Green Line run. At 9 AM, the last train from Silk Institute will arrive at Nagasandra. After that, there will be no more trains between Nagasandra and Peenya Industry till 2 PM. There is no impact on Purple Line operations.

An important link in Bengaluru’s Namma Metro system, the Green Line runs roughly 30.5 km from Nagasandra in the northwest to Silk Institute in the south. There are 29 stations in all, including major ones like Majestic (Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Station), Jayanagar, and Yeshwanthpur.
