In Kerala, a bus transporting 40 Sabarimala pilgrims was involved in a tragic accident when the driver lost control of the vehicle. This unfortunate incident occurred in Kanamala, near Erumeli, Kottayam district on a Wednesday morning, resulting in over 13 people sustaining injuries.

Swift Medical Response Saves Lives
The injured victims received prompt medical attention, with four of them being swiftly transported to the government medical College in Kottayam. Meanwhile, four others were admitted to the general hospital, while some accident victims sought treatment at a nearby private hospital. The authorities acted swiftly to ensure the injured received the care they needed.
These pilgrims, originating from Kolar in neighbouring Karnataka, were en route to the revered Sabarimala temple when the accident occurred. The Sabarimala temple, renowned for its spiritual significance, is situated in the Pathanamthitta district.

The ill-fated bus was carrying a total of 43 individuals, comprising 40 pilgrims among others, at the time of the accident. This unfortunate event serves as a stark reminder of the need for safety measures on such journeys to ensure the well-being of all travellers.
