As the devastating floods that have occurred across Himachal Pradesh continue to ongoing and snuffing lives and demolishing buildings, Mandi MP and actress Kangana Ranaut has not hesitated to visit the scene. In a footage filmed on Tuesday, Ranaut visited several areas in her home state of Himachal Pradesh that are still flooded and people are still being rescued and provided relief.

This touching story impacted the actor, who posted heartrending messages about the events on social media. In one of the posts that gripped her a lot emotionally she wrote “People have lost. .. everything .. In the vastness of that loss, I feel so much pain and grief. .. Ranaut also shared feelings on the might of nature and weakness of humankind. In one of the Instagram Story videos with local women, she posted a picture with the caption: “They say humans are so vulnerable before the nature. .. oh mother earth be kind to us. .. ” The visit came after she was criticized for her earlier absence in Mandi, which she also said that local authorities advised her not to rush into the disaster zone.

Thus, in this context of the continued process of returning to a normal existence as Himachal Pradesh carries out the task of recovery post this disastrous flood season, Kangna’s visit further symbolises this effort.
