Kamala Harris Rebukes Donald Trump for Supporting Dictators and Praising Putin During Intense U.S. Presidential Debate
In a heated exchange with Trump during a US Presidential campaign debate, Kamala Harris condemned Putin as a dictator and accused Trump of supporting him. Harris said this could encourage Russia to invade more countries in Europe due to Trump’s affection with Putin. She went on to comment that ‘Putin would eat [Trump] for lunch’ and Trump’s relations with Russian leader concern her.

Response 3 – Harris also elaborated that based on his previous behaviours and words, Trump liked to side with dictators. “Today Putin would be sitting in Kyiv with his eyes on Europe. Trump would give up for the sake of favor, thinking it’s friendship with a dictator,” she said.

In response, Trump said that the Russia Ukraine conflict which is still active would not have gotten to this point if he was the president meaning he would help make peace in the conflict. After their departure from office, he said he shook Putin’s hand and criticized Harris and President Joe Biden for not having the audacity to face Russia and NATO.

Harris didn’t mince her words explaining that Trump’s admiration for dictators was already established and referring to his interaction with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un. Trump further claimed that Putin would have preferred Harris to be the president, he could have stopped the war.
The discussion revealed the different approach to foreign affairs opium ; Trump boasted that he could end the war, while Harris criticized his fondness for authoritarian regimes.
