Three Terrorists Killed in Anti-Infiltration Operations Along LoC in Jammu and Kashmir
Three terrorists were neutralized by Indian forces in two anti-infiltration operations along the LoC in Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir, based on intelligence inputs.
Jammu and Kashmir: Indian Army and Police Neutralize Three Terrorists in Separate Anti-Infiltration Operations Along the LoC in Kupwara District
Engaging in a massive counter-terrorism operation, the Indian Army, in coordination with the Jammu and Kashmir Police, eliminated three terrorists in the two anti-infiltration operations conducted along the LoC in Kupwara district. These operations were carried out after several alarms were received informing that some individuals seemed to be infiltrating the area. The joint forces carried out their first operation in the Machhal sector on the night of 28-29 August, where, despite adverse weather conditions, they fixed suspicious movement. The terrorists were met by the troops a number of which are believed to have been neutralized in the process.

At the same time, another operation was carried out in Tangdhar area where the forces, following the similar intelligence reports, apprehended and eliminate third terrorist who was also trying to cruz the LoC. These operations also confirm on the enduring operational preparedness of the security forces of India in countering any attempts of infiltration along the volatile Line of Control in the Jammu and Kashmir sector. It is good news that these terrorists have been eliminated successfully by the Indian Army and the Jammu and Kashmir Police for ensuring safety and security while receiving threats firmly .
