A horrific accident was caught on camera in Haryana, where a man lost control of his car and ran over five people sitting by the roadside. The incident occurred in the morning hours, when the victims were sitting on the footpath, enjoying the sunshine.

The CCTV footage shows the car, a white sedan, speeding down the road, before suddenly veering off course and mounting the footpath. The driver, who appears to have lost control of the vehicle, fails to apply the brakes, and the car runs over the five people, including two women and three men.
The impact is severe, and the victims are seen being thrown into the air, before landing on the ground with a thud. The car then comes to a stop, after hitting a nearby tree. The driver, who is yet to be identified, is seen getting out of the car, looking shaken and distraught.
Eyewitnesses rushed to the spot, and called the police and ambulance services. The victims were rushed to the nearby hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. The condition of two of the victims is reported to be critical.
