Seven people died in a tragic accident in Gujarat’s Sabarkantha when a speeding car rammed into a trailer truck, highlighting the dangers of reckless driving.
Seven Lives Lost in Gujarat as Speeding Car Crashes into Trailer Truck on Highway in Sabarkantha
Seven people were killed in a dreadful road mishap in the Sabarkantha district of Gujarat in the small hours of the Wednesday morning when a car rammed a trailer truck at high speed. The accident was reported on a National Highway 8 near Himatnagar where the car coming from Shamlaji to Ahmedabad hit the rear of the truck.

A police official from Himatnagar said that the accident caused extensive damage and one person was seriously injured and seven others died. When contacted, Himatnagar Deputy SP AK Patel said, “Seven people in the car are dead and one is injured.” All of them were people living in Ahmedabad.” This saddening incident underlines the rising incidence of fatal road accidents resulting from speeding and reckless driving. In another accident on Golf Course Road in Gurugram on the same day, a driver who wanted to “save time” drove his SUV in the wrong side of the road in DLF Phase-II and hit a biker head on.

The young biker age 22-year old was killed on the spot despite being taken to the hospital. The whole accident was filmed from within on a Head Mounted GoPro camera of his friend. The driver of the SUV has been named as Akshat Garg from Dwarka; he was released on bail right after the attack.
These accidents are a painful lesson for all the reckless drivers and all those who do not observe traffic regulations in order not to experience such tragic losses.
