Tragedy Strikes Firozabad Firecracker Factory: Four Dead, Six Injured, Several Trapped
An explosion at a Firozabad firecracker factory has killed four, injured six, and left several trapped under debris. Rescue operations are ongoing.

A tragic incidence occurred in a Firozabad firecracker unit in Naushera where four employees were burnt alive and six were critically injured in a blast. The event happened on Tuesday with a shock wave presumably as a result of the blast which led to the collapse of the roof of a house in the neighboring compound. Reports receiving from a senior police official estimated that many people could be trapped under debris.

Speaking of the tragedy, IG Agra Range Deepak Kumar said, “It occurred in the Shikohabad PS area, where firecrackers were stored in a residential building, and an explosion happened there…The adjacent house tilted because of the effect of the blast…Rescue teams have saved ten people of the house that tilted because of the blast. We have four death reports, and six victims are being treated in the hospital at the moment
District Magistrate of Firozabad Ramesh Ranjan admitted that the attempts aimed at helping the victims are being made actively at the moment. An official, Ranjan said, ‘Rescue teams are busy working at the scene as of now and both the district and sub-district medical facilities are on standby with medical teams, ambulances, and disaster response vehicles dispatched to the site.
