A major fire incident occurred at Mudpipe Cafe, a hookah parlour on the fourth floor of a building in Bengaluru’s Koramangala area. The fire started around 11:30 a.m. and quickly spread to the Cult Fitness gym on the lower floor.First responders dispatched four fire engines to the scene, and they safely evacuated everyone present. The fire damaged two parked bikes and a car in a nearby showroom.

Daring Escape from Fire
Disturbing visuals captured a person jumping from the fourth floor to escape the blaze. Bystanders rushed the individual to a nearby hospital. Eyewitnesses reported hearing a loud explosion during the incident but noted that there weren’t many people inside the building when the fire broke out.
Residents had previously raised concerns about the hookah parlour’s proximity to a school with the local municipal authority (BBMP), but no action had been taken.

While a short circuit is suspected as the cause of the fire, the exact reason is yet to be determined.
