Festival Special Trains: Railways To Start Special Trains From Delhi To Bihar | Check List, Timings And Other Details Here

The officials say that trains heading east are packed with people. On normal trains, tickets are not confirmed for passengers. For the cities of Bihar, numerous festival special trains have been operated. Those returning home for the festival will have less problems if three more special trains are run.

People who live in large cities or far away from their homes for work or pleasure are preparing to travel back to their hometowns as festivals approach. Obtaining a confirmed ticket becomes problematic because of the hurry. The railway is operating special trains during festivals in light of this.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw stated, “This festive season, General Coach increased in 108 trains.” in reference to the holiday special trains. 12,500 carriages have been approved for special trains for Diwali and Chhath puja. As of right now, 5,975 trains in 2024–25 have received notifications. More than a crore travelers will be able to return home amid the puja rush thanks to this. 4,429 special trains ran over the holiday season in 2023–2024.”

Between Anandpur Terminal and Barauni and Hazrat Nizamuddin and Patna, there will be Festival Special Train service will run. Both of the special trains will have air-conditioned class carriages. Additionally, a special train from Sirhind to Saharsa has been announced. The passengers traveling eastward will find this convenient.
