An explosion at MS Agarwal Steel Plant near Tirupati district in the Andhra Pradesh killed six people today night. About six people had suffered injuries with a blast report heard at about 10: 15 PM inside Pennepalli at MS Agarwal Steel Plant Wednesday night. With this, everyone is scared in its neighboring villages by shock waves for hours. Mainly the wounded laborers here are working according to contract. The event was described by the eyewitnesses as a terrifying scene: a gigantic fireball blowing out of the plant followed by several small explosions.

It was a very severe damage to the surrounding area, shattering windows, and affecting the structural integrity of buildings around it. The power of the blast would be so powerful that its reach was felt even several kilometers away from the plant itself. Several residents living in very close proximity to the plant reported hearing a deafening noise that jolted them out of their homes, adding to the chaos of the situation.
The response teams in emergencies responded within the shortest time, and injured workers were transferred to government hospitals at Nellore and Nayudupeta.
