Late on Sunday night, a significant accident occurred in Hajipur, Bihar. The high-tension cables struck the DJ inside the trolley. Nine passengers in the trolley died from electric shock as a result. Over six Kanwariyas suffered severe burns as a result of electrocution.
The incident happened in the vicinity of the Jendaha Road Industrial Police Station in Baba Chuharmal. There was mayhem at the location as soon as this occurrence took place. What was happening at the time of the accident, according to this eyewitness? Shivam, an eyewitness who was there, stated that he and his buddies were riding a DJ trolley from Sultanpur to Pahlaja Ghat. At Baba Hariharnath Temple, Jalabhishek used to be performed by drawing water from Pahalja Ghat.

The two Kanwariyas that remained were severely burned. There was still life in him. People came running to assist the wounded. He was sent to a local hospital right away. That is where the injured are being treated. The mishap took place in a few fifteen seconds. Nobody even had time to heal. The electrocuted victims’ bodies were severely stuck inside the trolley. Many police personnel, including Sadar SDPO Omprakash, arrived at the scene alongside the police force after learning about the incident. The policemen took out all the dead bodies from the trolley and transferred them for post-mortem examination.

On Monday morning, the Baba Hariharnath Temple scheduled to perform Jalabhishek by drawing water from Pahalja Ghat. To the DJ’s music, every Kanwariya was singing and dancing. Abruptly, Baba Chauharmal approached the location where the DJ and cart collided with the high-tension line. There were a lot of Kanwariyas on the trolley back then. The coils were drawn into the current as soon as it was turned on. There was a commotion.

Vaishali DM Yashpal Meena arrived at Sadar Hospital Hajipur and asked about the injured after knowing about the tragedy. Every person who passed away lived in Sultanpur and Hajipur’s Barai Tola Jadhua. Amod Paswan, 18-year-old Ravi Kumar, 18-year-old Ashish Kumar, 24-year-old Raja Kumar, 29-year-old Naveen Kumar, and 14-year-old Chandan Kumar are among the deceased. Ashiq Kumar, 18, and 26-year-old Naumi Kumar, along with the elderly Suman Kumar, also known as Kallu. Sajan Kumar, 18, and Rajeev Kumar, 17, are two among the injured. Treatment for him is being provided by Sadar Hospital.
Compensation Announced –
On behalf of the electrical department, SDO Ram Babu Bedar has provided compensation to the relatives of each deceased person in the amount of Rs 4 lakh. He conveyed his sorrow for this occurrence as well. Said: “We are sharing this hour of grief with the families of the victims.” The wounded will receive quality care.
