Lav Kush Ramleela 2023: Bhumipujan Ceremony Marks a Grand Commencement
The Lav Kush Ramleela 2023 Committee held a momentous groundbreaking ceremony at Lal Kila Grounds, led by Chairman Arjun Kumar. This event marks the commencement of their highly anticipated Ramleela performance.
Splendid Bhumipujan Ceremony Launches Lav Kush Ramleela 2023 at Lal Kila Grounds
The committee for the iconic Lav Kush Ramleela 2023 held a significant Bhumipujan ceremony at the Lal Kila Grounds. The committee’s chairman, Mr. Arjun Kumar, announced that the Ramleela performance would take place from October 15th to October 25th, 2023. The Ramleela is usually performed during the festive occasion of Dussehra and days leading to it. Dussehra this year will be celebrated nationwide on October 24th.
Prominent Brahmins from Vrindavan, Mathura, and Delhi conducted the ritualistic puja with chants and mantras. Mr. Arjun Kumar honored all present guests with scarves, mementos, and a symbolic mace signifying strength.

Dr. Harsh Vardhan, former Central Minister of the Government of India, the Vice-Chairman of NDMC, Satish Upadhyay, BJP spokesperson Shahnavaz Hussain, Delhi Minister Imran Hussain, MLA Pralhad Sahni, BJP MLA Vijender Gupta, Delhi Nagar Nigam Sadan leader Mukesh Goyal, Vikas Tank, former Mayor of Delhi Jai Prakash, former MLA Alka Lamba, former BJP Delhi State President Adesh Gupta, all graced the event.
Global Praise for Lav Kush Ramleela 2023
Dr. Harsh Vardhan commended the Lav Kush Ramleela 2023 the Committee, recognizing its reputation as a globally renowned Ramleela committee known for its high-tech, digitally enhanced performances broadcasted live on nearly 100 television channels across 100 countries. He shared his personal experience of portraying Raja Janak in the Ramleela.
Arjun Kumar revealed that this year’s Ramleela will have a three-tiered stage based on the theme of Kashi’s Vishwanath Temple. The stage will be an impressive 150 feet long, 60 feet wide, and 72 feet tall, hosting performances by approximately 40 Bollywood stars.
The Committee’s Secretary, Mr. Subhash Goyal, mentioned that esteemed guests from Delhi, including Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar, Ashwani Kumar, Chairman of DPCDC, Sanjay Beniwal, DG Jail, senior officials of Delhi Police like SBK Singh, Deepak Purohit, Manoj Meena, Jitendra Meena, Badal Kumar DC City, SP John of Delhi Nagar Nigam were also felicitated during the event.
The Bhumipujan ceremony witnessed the presence of several dignitaries including Pavan Gupta, Rajan Chopra, Satyabhushan Jain, Sandeep Bhutani, Praveen Goyal, Ankur Goyal, Madan Agrawal, Rajkumar Gupta, Gaurav Suri, Saurabh Gupta, Kapil Rastogi, Devendra Chaudhary, who all extended their respects to the guests.
