On Saturday morning, we experienced heavy rain in Delhi, Noida, and Gurugram . According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the national capital was predicted to receive light to moderate rainfall on that day. The Regional Weather Forecasting Centre (RWFC) specified that the rain would occur in various places within Delhi, NCR (including Noida, Dadri, Greater Noida, Faridabad), and neighboring regions in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.

Moderate Rain in Delhi:
The IMD expected a general cloudy sky with moderate rain in the city, with maximum and minimum temperatures around 34 and 26 degrees Celsius, respectively. On the previous day, some parts of Delhi like Civil Lines, Laxmi Nagar, and Lajpat Nagar had already experienced rainfall, with Jasola and Okhla seeing overcast skies. The maximum temperature was recorded at 34.3 degrees Celsius, slightly below normal, while the humidity levels ranged from 90 to 72 percent.

AQI: 71 in Delhi
On Friday, Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) was measured at 71, falling under the satisfactory category according to SAFAR (System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research) data. The AQI scale ranges from 0 to 500, with scores below 50 considered good and scores above 400 labeled as severe.
