Last week, the Enforcement Directorate raided the residence of AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh in connection with the Liquor Policy Case. After nine hours of searching, he was arrested. AAP questioned the action against Sanjay Singh, alleging it was BJP’s retaliation for his inquiries about Adani.
Sanjay Raut, the leader of the Uddhav faction of the Shiv Sena, responded to the raids on Khan by stating, “Raids on opposition leaders would continue until 2024 (Lok Sabha elections). What happened to the list of 10–12 people we gave the ED in Maharashtra? These raids against the opposition will keep happening.
“Jaise jaise kadiya mil rahi hai, waise waise zanjeer ban rahi hai,” countered Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva. Investigative agencies will carry out their duties if he is corrupt.
