Delhi Government: Extensive Preparations Underway for Chhath Puja 2023 in Delhi

The Delhi government is gearing up for Chhath Puja 2023 by planning to establish more than 1,000 Chhath Ghats throughout the city. During a high-level meeting, Revenue Minister Atishi emphasized the importance of preparing in advance to avoid inconveniences for devotees during the festival. District magistrates have been instructed to identify suitable locations for these Ghats and begin their construction.

The government aims to provide essential amenities such as clean water, tents, electricity, restrooms, security, medical services, power backup, and CCTV cameras at these sites. Additionally, cultural programs will be organized, and cleanliness will be a priority.
