On Tuesday CM Baghel of Chhattisgarh stated that those accused in rape cases, molestation and other crimes against women and girls will be disqualification from state government jobs. This follows a similar action by Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot a week ago.

CMs take Action rape ineligible for govt jobs
Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot had said that the state police will take strict action against those involved in sexual assault and suggested that those accussed of such crimes should be ineligible for government jobs.
During the celebration of Independence Day event in Raipur, Baghel revealed several declarations ahead of the upcoming state assembly elections scheduled later this year.

Prioritize Women’s Safety and Education
“We prioritize women’s safety and dignity. Those involved in offenses against women will be barred from government jobs,” Baghel stated. He emphasized integrating modern technologies like AI and machine learning into the school curriculum for the betterment of Chhattisgarh.

In a move to prepare students for the future, classes 11 and 12 in remote government schools will receive free online coaching for medical and engineering entrance exams. Additionally, government college students will enjoy free bus transportation. Baghel also announced the launch of ‘Mukhyamantri Nirman Shramik Pension Sahayata Yojana’ to provide pension to construction workers.
