According to the police, the main accused, Vansh Chaudhary, who lives in Sahadatganj, Ayodhya, allegedly lured the victim by promising to take her on outings around the city. In her complaint, the victim said that Vansh used this promise to exploit her.

The situation worsened on August 25 when the victim was allegedly abducted on her way to the temple. She claimed that Vansh, along with Udit Kumar, Satram Chaudhary, and two other unidentified people, tried to assault her inside a car. However, the car hit a divider, allowing her to escape.

The victim said she did not go to the police right away because the accused had threatened to harm her and her family. She feared for their safety. They threatened to kill us, which is why I didn’t report it immediately, she told the police. However, after the failed abduction on August 25, she finally decided to seek help.

On August 26, the victim went to the police, but her complaint was not registered immediately. The areas where the crime allegedly took place are part of high-security zones, which made the situation more alarming.

After investigating, the police finally registered the case on September 2, and all eight accused were arrested and sent to jail. Amrendra Singh, the officer in charge of Cantt Police Station, said the victim had known the main accused, Vansh, for four years and had trusted him.

The case has sparked public outrage, with many questioning why it took so long for the complaint to be registered. The authorities have promised a full investigation and strict action against those involved.
