AAP Minister in Punjab Embroiled in “Non-Existent” Department Scandal

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) minister in Punjab operated a fictional department between two years while serving in office. After the latest development the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) launched swift criticism aimed at the AAP government operating in Punjab.

The minister operated a nonexistent official department according to reports which raises substantial doubts about the AAP government’s accountability standards and administrative transparency. The BJP uses this matter as a weapon to attack AAP’s government for poor administration and insufficient monitoring.

A BJP spokesperson labeled this situation as a flagrant mismanagement problem along with a total lack of accountability. The Punjab AAP government remains exposed because of its poor performance and insufficient willingness to show its operations to the public. Ruling in this manner does not match the standards that people of Punjab are entitled to under their government.

The AAP organization has defended the department as an official entity which started to fulfill specialized state needs. Despite the lack of official recognition the party has failed to provide any clear reasoning with justification for its policy towards the unregistered department and its unmonitored 20-month operation period.

Opposition parties in Punjab have launched an intense debate over the issue which has driven them to seek answers from the AAP government. Punjab residents continue to ask about both the AAP’s governance competency and its dedication to accountability and transparency after this incident .
