In a significant breakthrough, 3 Khalistani terrorists were gunned down in an encounter with the Uttar Pradesh Police in Pilibhit district. The terrorists, identified as Gurvinder Singh, Virender Singh alias Ravi, and Jaspreet Singh alias Pratap Singh, were accused of attacking a police post in Punjab’s Gurdaspur district last Friday .
According to reports, the terrorists belonged to the banned Khalistan Commando Force and were involved in the grenade attack on the police post. Following a tip-off about their presence in Puranpur, the Punjab Police alerted their Uttar Pradesh counterparts, leading to a coordinated operation.

When cornered, the terrorists opened fire on the police, prompting retaliatory action. The encounter resulted in the killing of all three terrorists. The police seized two AK-47 rifles, two Glock pistols, and several rounds of live ammunition from the suspects.
The Uttar Pradesh Police and Punjab Police have been praised for their swift action and coordination in neutralizing the terrorist threat. The encounter is seen as a significant blow to the Khalistan Commando Force and its activities in the region .
