Asrani, Brijesh Goyal, and Shankar Sahney to Bring Iconic Ramayana Characters to Life in Lav Kush Ramleela 2024 at Red Fort Grounds
Lav Kush Ramleela Committee which is one of the most reputed organizations is preparing for a grand show this year where the comedy actor Asrani, AAP leader Brijesh Goyal and singer Shankar Sahney are going to participate for the show. The event will start from 3rd October to 13th October 2024 at the Red Fort Grounds and Dussehra on 12th October.
The twoget comedian of Indian cinema Asrani will don the hat of chief minister of the kingdom of king Janak during Sita’s Swayamvar. His comedic ability will come in handy as he invites the kings to pull Lord Shiva’s bow. Asrani, who said was proud to be part of Ramleela, said that how ever which ever part in Ramleela is an honor The actor, who said he had played Narad Muni in Ramleela previously, said the role had been appreciated in the past years including in other countries.

Award-winning singer and music composer Shankar Sahney will be portraying the character of Kevat who ferries Ram across Ganga. Sahney, who is happy about singing while acting, will sing devotional songs during the trip. He thanked Lav Kush Ramleela Committee for given chance to play this much popular character.

AAP leader Brijesh Goyal, who has a-political background, will be depicting Meghnad, the powerful son of the Ravana. For the daunting part of portraying the valiant warrior, Goyal has started auditioning. He told the audience how eager he felt to play such a dignified role on the famed Ramleela stage. With such a good cast in the play and such an outstanding team behind the Lav Kush Ramleela, the play definitely is a blend of culture, entertainment and spirituality as Ramayana is brought to life for the audiences once more.
