Umar Riaz is the big brother of Bigg Boss 13 runner-up, Asim Riaz. Umar received a lot of attention from the masses when he entered in Bigg Boss 13 house at family week. There BB fans lauded Umar’s calm nature and positivity that he brought along.
Riaz brothers hail from Kashmir. Umar Riaz was born on 1 January 1990 and is a general surgeon by profession. He was working as a senior doctor in a Mumbai-based hospital, Sir HN Reliance foundation.
How he Rose to fame
This handsome doctor is now a part of Bigg Boss 15 and doing a quite good job. Before entering the BB house Riaz revealed that he wanted to try his luck in the entertainment industry, but he thought to complete his education and support his family first.
Therefore, he appeared in 3 music videos, Gunaah Karde along with Saba Khan, Befikar with Daljeet Kaur, and Sky High with his brother Asim Riaz and Himanshi Khurana. This biscuit boy is also into fitness and keeps a check on his diet.

He also gained the limelight on his link-up with TV actress Sonal Vengurlekar. Sonal alleged Umar for using her for monetary benefits and accessing her online apps after they broke up. She also shared some screenshots of her and Umar Riaz’s WhatsApp chat where Riaz was calling her ‘flop actor’. She also dedicated a long post to Umar on Twitter that reads, “Dekho reality saamne aane ke baad, How @realumarriaz is behaving, even if I am a flop actor, or chapri TikTok star, I am happy because jo Bhi Hai khud ke Dum pe Hai, At least Kisi Aur ki fame par Nahi jeeti Mai, Respect Dekho shame (sic).”
Later, Riaz squashed all these allegations and said that Sonal is doing all these as she wanted to create controversy to get into Bigg Boss house.

A lot of things are happening in Bigg Boss 15 house as torture captaincy task quaked the whole house. During the task, Tejasswi Prakash faked the medical emergency so that her team can reduce the competition. Her teammates also try to convince Umar to check Tejasswi but Pratik told the truth as he felt, the medical emergency prank is like a mocking profession.

Although Jay Bhanushali lost his cool over Tejasswi and said, “Medical emergency is not a joke”. Netizens also slammed Karan Kundra for calling Riaz ‘Ganda’. He further added that Umar is an as* and he should be treated like that.

Notably, Shamita Shetty was also targeted by trollers. In the captaincy task, Umar tried to torture Nishant Bhat and Rajiv Adatia with ice. But Shamita being sanchalak disqualified Umar for using liquid in the task.
Meanwhile, it seems that Rajiv had also fans after the torture task. Housemates tried everything to make Rajiv get off from his seat, however, he did not make a budge. His determination earned him some fans, but not all tweets were in favour of Adatia. Some fans are annoyed with him for being too nosy in Ieshaan Sehgal and Miesha Iyer’s relationship. All the conversations that happened between Ieshaan and Rajiv so far made everyone believe that they had some class Rishta outside the house.
We also saw Ieshaan lashing out at him and saying, “The way you are portraying everything, I am looking wrong. I am a straight guy.” As they argued, Rajiv yelled and warned to spill the beans. He said, “Meera muh mat khulwa, bahar Kya Hua Tha” The clip ended with Meisha breaking down.
