Regarding the imputation of playing the ‘victim card’, Chandrika responds, “The reverse of this is that of whining each and every time in order to be pitied or have somebody pity me and I argue that I was never heard crying on camera, begging for sympathy. My intention was not to be a victim and cry all day, rather it was to live my life and stand up whenever I felt that I was being victimized.”

Chandrika replies, “Is it playing the victim when one stands up for someone’s wellbeing or when one demands respect for the elder? When something was bothering me, I expressed it out and never played a victim card as far as I could think of, not now and in the future maybe never will I do that Chandrika cries sometime but she can also stand strong when needed.

Chandrika, who became famous for her business mindedness of selling vada pavs during her early days travelling around Delhi, was the most spotlighted prior to her entraining the Bigg Boss house. However, her time on the show was quite limited as she had a very small role. Evicted in the third week, she thinks for a while, “I never thought to be out of the show in the shortest time possible, I do not clearly know whether the public was against me, the people inside the house were never against me but, may be the producers should have looked for people with many fans.”

She thinks that reality TV shows usually encourage fighting and being mean. “We need to show how to handle real life instead of just arguing,” she says.
