Exclusive – Bigg Boss OTT 3: Ranvir Shorey Shares Reason Behind Marrying Konkona Sen Sharma; Says ‘Zone Similar Nahi…’
Bigg Boss OTT 3 fame Ranvir Shorey and Konkona Sen Sharma were married in 2010. They separated in 2015 and got divorced in 2020. They have a son, Haroon.
With each new episode, Bigg Boss OTT 3 becomes hotter and hotter. As competitors get better at what they do, it’s common to see them discussing past experiences. During the show’s July 16, 2024, episode, Ranvir Shorey talked about his split from well-known Bollywood actress Konkona Sen Sharma. Shorey alluded to the reason behind his breakup in a conversation with Naezy.
Former Bigg Boss OTT 3 contestant Naezy had a conversation with Ranvir Shorey where he mentioned his ex-wife Konkona Sen Sharma. Altogether, in episode 26 of the show, the duo had also discussed divorces of artistes of Hindi film industry. Ranvir Shorey also weighed in on the subject matter on feminism.

While in the kitchen, Naezy asked Ranvir, saying that the respective zones of you and your ex-wife are very much alike, to which he replied, did you meet her? Ranvir added if the zone was not similar, one cannot get married and sired a child. The couple, Ranvir and Konkana Sensharma, got married in 2010 and divorced in 2020. Khadija gave birth to their son named Haroon.
Once, Naezy told Ranvir, ‘Industry mein zadatar rishtaay aese kyu hojaate hai baad mein jaake? Main dekh raha hun bohut saaare artistes ka divorce karte hai .’
Ranvir on divorces, the feminist movement—
As per Ranvir’s statement, he said that it is not – related to the industry part, but the society part. He said, “Feminist movement is sometimes misused sometimes men cannot take it and sometimes women misuse it These are the reasons… But actually, feminist movement is fruitful In history, in my opinion, there was only one reason why women were treated as second class citizens What is that? They are physically weaker than men ,that is why Malik says that the feminist movement is important.

Apart from Naezy and Ranvir, other casts include Adnaan Shaikh, Sana Makbul, Sai Ketan Rao, Sana Sultana, Deepak Chaurasia, Armaan Malik, Kritika Malik, Vishal Pandey, Lovekesh Kataria, and Shivani Kumari. More recently Munisha Khatwani and Chandrika Dixit were shown the exit door out of the show. Bigg Boss OTT 3 began on June 21 on the paid app of Jio Cinema known as JioCinema Premium. Anil Kapoor is the new host of the show ever since. Earlier the host of the show was Salman Khan ,now it is hosted by Anil Kapoor.
