Reality Revealed as Contestant Khanzaadi Faces Struggles and Surprises in Bigg Boss 17
Bigg Boss 17, the reality show that captures the essence of human dynamics under a magnifying glass, has witnessed its fair share of intense moments and captivating contestants. Firoza Khan, better known by her stage name Khanzaadi, emerged as one of the most talked-about participants during this season. After she departed from Bigg Boss 17, Khanzaadi shared her deeply personal reasons for wanting to step away from the intense reality show in an interview with DNA.
Hailing from Assam, Firoza Khan, also recognized as a rapper, singer, and songwriter, entered the Bigg Boss house with strong willpower, ready to navigate the challenges within. However, as the days unfolded, she found herself grappling with a waning interest in the game, eventually expressing a desire to “run away” from the confines of the Bigg Boss 17 house.
In a candid conversation, Khanzaadi revealed, “Main tadap rahi thi bahar aane ke liye (I was dying to get out of the house).” Her journey, initially marked by determination, took an unexpected turn as she confessed, “I went inside with strong willpower, and I did put across myself many times. But after a while, I lost my interest in the game, and I wanted to run away from the house.”
Interestingly, Khanzaadi’s exit from the show wasn’t determined by the audience’s votes. During the buzzer round of the Weekend Ka Vaar episode with the charismatic host Salman Khan, Khanzaadi made a unique choice—opting not to save herself. This decision added another layer to her narrative, prompting questions about the internal struggles contestants face within the Bigg Boss house.

Khanzaadi: Battling Isolation and Mockery in Bigg Boss 17
In her interview, Khanzaadi addressed the perception that emerged during the show’s Weekend Ka Vaar episodes, where she claimed that fellow housemates had ganged up against her and mocked her health issues. Reflecting on this challenging aspect of her Bigg Boss 17 journey, she stated, “Main pagal nahi hoon ki main khudh se baar-baar cheez daurati rahungi (I am not crazy blaming others). Yeh baatein hui hai, and it used to make me feel disconnected from the house. Main toot gayi thi, ro padi thi (I am not crazy blaming others. My health issues were discussed, and mocked by them).”
Khanzaadi revealed that, except for Ankita Lokhande, Anurag Dobhal, and Vicky Jain (Ankita’s husband), she felt isolated within the house. The emotional toll escalated when her health issues were trivialized, especially after she got hurt during a task. She candidly shared, “When I got hurt during a task, I shared my health issues and used it as a trigger point.”
