According to Dr Singh ‘To do the skincare is much important during flights as the air quality in flights is very dry and it leads to dehydration, further damage to skin barrier, therefore, doing proper skincare helps to keep skin well hydrated, protects it from dryness and hence makes it comfortable through out the journey.’

Expert-recommended routine-
Cleanse: Employ a mild soap in the shower before the flight to rid your skin of deposits. One can normally wipe the dust off his or her face, but it is important to do this to avoid blocking the pores. If you are unable to wash your face before boarding the flight, then also make sure to carry some wipes or cleansing water and cotton pads.
