Bhagyashree also resonates with this idea in a slightly different way: the skin remains youthful if it is taken proper care of regardless of one’s age. In the words of an actor and a nutritionist who frequently posts skincare tips and home remedies on Instagram, one does not have to spend hours and days on the skin; with a few products, it is enough to make it alive.
Bhagyashree revealed the recipe for a face mask that she applies when she wants to give her skin a glow. “This is a face mask that I swear is magical for the skin as it not only moisturizes and hydrates but is also a collagen booster and helpful in the fight against acne and pigmentation; the mask is made from aloe vera, saffron, oats, rose water, and vitamin E—what skin doesn’t need?”, she said.

Aloe vera-
Aloe vera is known to have a cooling and moisturizing effect as well as heal the skin. For dermatitis, Dr Sharma said the chemical baths could assist in making the skin less irritated, and preventing it from inflaming as well as supplying nutrient to the skin.
Considerations: Safe to use on majority of clients but some may have an allergic reaction to some of the ingredients. To this Dr Sharma suggested that patch testing should be done.

Vitamin E-
Vitamin E is one of the most efficient antioxidants that assist in the fighting off of free radicals, encourage the skin healing and moisturizing. It can also enhance the quality and elasticity of the customers’ skin. “Vitamin E oil might be a bit greasy and could lead to blocking of pores in the oily or acne skin type; therefore, its application should preferably be limited,” he added.
Oats—
Oats possess inflammation reducing and calming effects, so they are fitting for use on skin that is sensitive or has become irritated. Basically, they can aid in removal of dead cells on skin and, at the same time, washing the skin. “Patch test is recommended,” said Dr Sharma.
Rose water—
Glycerin has been earlier described as being able to control inflammation while rose water has been described as having capabilities of hydrating the skin. It can maintain skin’s healthy pH level and decrease the inflammation of the skin as well as serves as a skin toner. “Generally a safe product for most to use on their skin but may be used gently on those with very sensitive skin,” noted Dr Sharma.
