A problem in the wires carrying the cable cars above the Mont Blanc glaciers caused 33 tourists to be trapped inside the cable car for the whole night.
These tourists were trapped inside various cable cars on Thursday night.

Initially, a total of 110 people were trapped when the cars halted, but 77 of them were evacuated a few hours after the halt.
The rest 33 people reaming trapped unit Friday morning, when services were restored and then they were rescued.
The rescues operations were suspended on Thursday because of trick weather conditions and darkness. However, the people have been bought to ground and are safe.
