Sudarshan Pattnaik wins People’s choice prize

Suadarshan Pattnaik is an Indian sand artist from Odisha who is famous for his brilliant art sculptures. He was also awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 2014.

He is the ambassador of NALCO, India and has made more than 100 sculptures in his lifetime. The theme of his sculptures range from environment all crisis, festivals to world peace.

He was won around 27 championships around the world.

He recently won the People’s choice prize at Moscow Sand Art Championship. For the same, he tweeted –

“I feel honoured that I have won People’s choice prize at Moscow SandArt thanks visitors giving me 60thousand votes.”

The artist had also won a Gold Medal for his World Peace sculpture this year. He also tweeted-

“In April I have won GoldMedal for this sculpture & now won the People’s choice prize. Thanks viewers again”
