Banks will remain close for 11 days in July!
State-run bank services will remain close for 11 days in July, not at a stretch but overall, thanks to bank employees’ strikes on three different days – July, 12, 13 and 29 – coupled with regular holidays and Ramadan. So next month you people will not get bank services for almost 11 days.
Bank to remain close
As per reports customers can expect some delays in transactions, particularly cheque clearances or online transfers, which can be executed only during working hours and on days when banks remain open.
Not only this customer can even face delays in loan processing, remittances and other services like depositing cash or making demand drafts. However, ATM withdrawals will not be affected as several banks have outsourced cash-loading business to private players.
