Sunil Jaglan the sarpanch of a village in Jind has got a website developed which would be an online museum of selfies with a capacity of 10 lakh selfies.
The website is http://selfiewithdaughter.world
The website was launched by the health minister of Haryana, Anil Vij almost a year after Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised his idea of ‘Selfie with daughter’.
The website got a very good response as within few hours of it going online on Thursday, it received more than 13,000 visitors and the union ministry of women and child development as well shared its link on social media.

Anil Vij also posted a selfie with his niece Bharti on the website which is going viral.
In June 2015, a ‘selfie with daughter’ contest was organized in which more than 8,000 selfies was received by Jaglan.
According to Jaglan, the concept behind ‘selfie with daughter’ is to motivate parents to feel proud of their daughters in a gender biased society.
