Sony has started to take pre registrations for its Xperia X and XA

Sony has started its pre registration for its new model which is yet to launch, Xperia X and XA smart phones in India.

Sony has showcased its X series range which includes X and XA at the Mobile World Congress in February itself.

According to an official statement, Sony is not planning to launch its X performance smart phones in India anytime soon.

Sony Xperia X has a 5-inch Full HD display with a Triluminous display technology. It has 23MP primary camera with a front camera of 13MP, it also features a fingerprint scanner and is powered by Snapdragon 650 chipset.

Xperia X will have a 7.7mm thick profile and it weighs 152 grams. The smart phone will be launched in white, gold, black and rose gold color variants.

On the other hand Xperia XA can be called a lite version of X. The XA will be powered by Media Tek Helio 10 processor and a 2GB Ram with 16 GB storage.

Xperia XA will be dual SIM with a 2300mAh battery accompanied with superior battery saving services. It will also have a 5-inch 720p HD display and supports 4G LTE bands.

Both the X and XA will have Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the devices are set to launch on May 30.
