Brain scans can help to detect Alzheimer’s at early stage: Study

As per the study of a University at California, brain scans can foretell if a person will suffer from Alzheimer or not.

The researchers have proven that sticky amyloid plaques and tau protein tangles, which are characteristic of the disease can spotted and the moment they can trigger Alzheimer’s. It is a very big achievement for them because they were trying to find it since a long time.

In fact, the scientists were also successful in tracking stages of Alzheimer in the adults, who showed no symptoms. Their finding suggested that people, who carried APOE variant gene, should be regularly screened.
