Pune and Rajkot will be the two new IPL teams for next two years
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced that Pune ‘s New Rising and Rajkot ‘s Intex will replace the Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals in the next two editions of the productive Twenty20 tournament, the Indian Premier League.
In a conference of the IPL governing council, Chairman Rajeev Shukla confirmed that Sanjeev Goenka’s company New Rising and mobile phone manufacturing company Intex has won the possession rights of the two new teams in the IPL of 2016.
Earlier, the Supreme Court has appointed Justice R.M. Lodha team which has announced two-year suspension for both the two teams after their investigation into the 2013 corruption concern.
