The former singer of Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver Scott Weiland, passed away at the age of 48. The American singer and musician was found dead on a tour bus.
He was on the bus with his latest band, The Wildabouts as they were headed to play at a concert in Minnesota. Scott died at Bloomington, Minn.

Scott had a drug problem throughout his career, even when he was a member of the grunge movement (as a part of the Stone Temple Pilots band). The exact cause of the death has still not been revealed.
