PM Modi will start campaign on ‘ Accessible India’ today
will start campaign on ‘Accessible India’ in Delhi on the occasion of International Day of Disability.
It is a countrywide flagship campaign for gaining universal convenience for people with disabilities and to create obstruction free environment, with a spotlight on building Environment, Public Transportation and Information and Communication Technologies.
By this campaign, at least 50 percent of all the government buildings of New Delhi and all the state capitals will be converted into fully available buildings by July 2018.
All the international airports will be converted into fully available international airports by July 2016.
All A1, A and B categories of railway stations in the country will be renewed into fully available railway stations by July 2016.
