Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari recently revealed that international agencies are keen to fund for green electric buses in India and government is planning to pilot it.
The government will soon deploy 10 electric buses on trial basis and if trials will be successful, then 1.5 lakh buses will be replaced by electric buses.
International agencies like KFW group are keen to fund such as eco – friendly step and a green initiative.
The Indian Space Research Organization has already created lithium ion battery, the testing is going on that what all are modifications are needed to use them in automobiles.
