Sachin Tendulkar, India’s cricketing legend recently travelled by British Airways. It happened to one of those days, when a member of his family got waitlisted, and also some of his luggage got mis-directed.
Expressing his anger, Sachin tweeted about the incident. The ever alert British Airways picked up the tweet, but failed to recognize the sender, and asked him to give his full name and ticket and other details, so that he could be helped.
After that all hell broke loose, and diehard Sachin fans were not going to take things lying down. People from all waks of life came down heavily on BA, and Chetan Bhagat tweeted “ Looks like India can forgive Britain for 100 Yrs of occupation but not for British Airways asking @sachin_rt his full name.”
