Modi faces intolerence flak in UK
Known for not pulling their punches, British media questioned India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the recent spate of religious intolerence in India.
This happened in the backdrop of his visit to UK, where he was also questioned about the infamous 2002 Gujarat Riots.
Saying that India is the land of Buddha and Gandhi, Modi replied, that peace and harmony are intrinsic to Indian nature and social values.
He further said “India does not accept intolerance even if it is one or two or three incidents…”
